Palma

Grupo Cappuccino. http://www.grupocappuccino.com/. Coffee chain, but not at all what you would expect of one (actually, just what one would hope they could be). Great loungy music, good food too. 3 addresses in Palma, 2 in Puerto Portals and one in Palma Nova and one in Port d'Antratx, all at privileged locations.

Ca N'Antuna, Fortnalutx. Mallorcan menu (lamb cutlets were highly rated). Service by owner and family, EUR 25 with wine.
S'Atic, Hotel los Geranios, Port Soller, closed until early March. "Enticing and unusual combinations more reminiscent of modern Catalan cuisine". Highly recommended ("unquestionably the best meal of our stay").
Read's Hotel and Restaurant. Set just north of Palma in the open countryside outside Santa Maria del Cami.
